Petition for a Safe Crossing on Cyncoed and Llanedeyrn Road

Thank you to those who signed my petition for a safe crossing at the Cyncoed Road and Llanedeyrn Road Crossroads.

89 people have now signed the petition, stating that it is not safe to cross the road at this junction due to relentless traffic. It is particularly hazardous for children, the frail elderly, and for those with visual or sensory disabilities.

This Thursday 28
th July, the petition will be presented to full Council and Mr Kevin Seymour will be asking a question on this matter to the Cabinet Member for Transport, Planning and Sustainability, Cllr. Ramesh Patel. The meeting starts at 4.30pm.

All Council meetings are webcasted (simultaneously streamed on the Cardiff Council website) so they can be accessed by anyone who wishes to view the proceedings. The recording of the webcast is also kept on the website for 12 months. You can access the webcast here:

I will keep you informed of any progress following the meeting.
Yours Sincerely,

Jenny Rathbone AM

Assembly Member for Cardiff Central
